The Experience
you will be challenged! it will be loud, evocative and powerful; nectar will be wrung from your body. as you fervently supplicate, you will be emptied, provoked and confronted in a supportive manner and environment… the first stop on the path of being fulfilled is to get fully-empty. the phoenix rises from the ashes, not from the egg!
combining the dynamic flow of Ashtanga with the subtle energetics of Kundalini and the sweaty good times of Vinyasa to create a transformational experience: moving meditations, physical prayer, transcendence & surrender, passion & compassion, solid like a Rock & shining like a Star.
come to a RockStar class if you're looking for a challenge that will be constructive and transformational, where no effort is wasted and where your failure is celebrated for its energetic intention while the motion is in devotion. All are welcome, if you can bring a sense of humor, surrender your ego at the door and focus on remaining present to the catalytic experience and life-affirming sensations contained within the asana practice.

"Every class I teach, I encourage students to reach past their limitations and fail, beautifully… to try, to engage, to fall and get back up and smile at the futility. What is important is moving willingly and lovingly into the unknown, with open heart and playful spirit!"
What Students Say

"Excellent Teacher! I
had the good fortune to attend Chrispy's class on Sunday at the I AM
Yoga festival in Tulsa. It was the best yoga class I've taken to date .
As one of the other students said, I love they way he uses language to
deepen the practice. It was fun and irreverent and challenging."
"Soooo, I have pigeonholed public classes in my head into one of two categories: either a gentle class that feeds my spirit or a "tougher" class that strengthens my body. Um, yea, Chrispy's class shattered that! His class was very challenging physically and yet somehow (his pacing? his language? my attitude?) I managed to stay present and focused throughout the entire class. I left feeling stronger and more centered in a way I have not experienced in a public class before."
"Over the last 7 months Chrispy has opened my heart, body and mind. He has a vested interest in our growth. He saw that I needed to feel stronger and grow. He has taken the time to move my practice years forward which makes me feel strong personally, as well."
"That is one thing I appreciate about your instruction: you make sure to properly align us yogis in class to ensure proper form and technique. So many instructors lack the desire to emphasize proper body alignment in even basic poses. Those are the best classes: when an instructor breaks down a basic pose as a reminder, because it's very easy to slip into bad form and it becomes habit. I can count on one hand the instructors I know who do this. Thanks, Chrispy Bhagat Singh!"
"A syzygy of the sacred with the profane and the Self; William Blake meets Billy Sunday meets Atticus Finch---at a poetry slam infused with musings of the 100-Watt White Warlock."

"After
a much-needed rest and an early night last night I took Chrispy's
class today and can I say "Holy Crap?!" Because that is what I was
thinking as I left...in the best, most amazing way!"
"Beyond my hearing aids being removed before they shorted with sweat, I think it was one of the most powerful events I've ever experienced..."
"Chrispy rolls-holy and will rock the tent during the revival, because this practice is worth shaking the firmament in order to call down the stars!"
“I almost cried. It could be that I’m about to start my period, but it was seriously an emotional class for me.”"I loved Chrispy's class. I'm a yoga teacher so can be critical. I loved absolutely everything about his class. Even the hot room. And his jeans. He's too cool."
"That was a stone cold groove..."

it’s a tough practice, let's be honest about that. if not the physical energetic, the continual confrontation with Self is a challenge! if we can’t find a way to play and enjoy ourselves, for most of us we will just slough on fighting, or give up and walk away – neither serves us. enjoy, put joy in your practice, and your experience - make your practice like your beloved and act like a lover! give thanks and praise!
The Teacher
a Yoga Educator and a Mystic - trained in Vinyasa Ashtanga at the 500-hour Level, and both Hatha and Kundalini Yoga at the 200-hour Level, each. blessed to have studied with world-renowned masters of the crafts in Yoga, Mindfulness, Meditation, Asana, Philosophy, Tantra, Ayurveda, Jyotish, the Chakras, the Five Elements, as well as both Eastern subtle anatomy and a deep concentration in Western anatomy.
an explorer of Sacred Traditions, a conduit for teachings, an enthusiologist and studied in entheogens. a deep, personal interest in CG Jung’s Shadow Work and J Campbell’s Hero’s Journey, incorporating those perspectives into the teachings. deepening the work by continually learning and training and gaining more approaches to Energetic Body-Work and Therapy skills. taking the teachings and then 'meeting the students where they are,' as well as working one-on-one with individuals and helping them find the optimal occupation of their physical body.
exploring the worlds of Mysticism; through the realm of the Esoteric Hermetic Philosophy, as well as integrating the concepts of Rasayana – ‘the path of essence’ which is the Vedic concept of Alchemy. body-working in all realms, using the principles of therapeutic massage combined with an understanding of subtle anatomy and shadow-work to create space to process shame, trauma and emotional stress from the physical, emotional, energetic and spiritual bodies. seeing the practices and their modalities as a physical Alchemy; elevating that which is base, distilling that which is essence and creating something more purified and elevated. this is personal and interpersonal tantra.
a facilitator for Asana, Mindfulness and Ritual Practices, a Spiritual Intelligence Mentor and an Ordained Rector, using these modalities to bring clarity, empowerment and transformation to each gathering. believing strongly in ritual as a path to meaning and purpose and helping to create opportunities for observance. an Officiant for weddings, unions, baptisms, blessings, bindings, to create ritual and sacred space as well as support other ceremonies.
in service to any and all that are serious about sustainable personal transformation and creating true balance in all aspects of life; also deeply interested in having a great time, and like to include as many folks as possible in that energy!
an assistant to Seane Corn, a Community Builder for Off the Mat, Into the World, and an Ambassador for YogaVotes - working to unite the material and the ethereal.
